I know so much more now than I did two hours ago thanks to our incredibly knowledgeable private guide, Kevin. We took a “Highlights” tour of The Met and from start to finish we covered many, many unique artifacts, period rooms, and special Met treasures, all the while learning fascinating histories of the artists, New York collectors, and sometimes very unusual stories of how the pieces ended up in New York in the first place….ask to see the only Michelangelo sculpture in the US. He was also very gracious with his general knowledge of New York. Next time we visit we’ll be requesting one of Kevin’s other tours in the city. Thank you!
