Next Chapter Charters offers private boat experiences designed to help guests enjoy the best of Key West from the water. From snorkeling the vibrant reef and relaxing at the sandbar to fishing adventures, Dry Tortugas excursions, ...
Captain James and Captain Chris have built a strong reputation on the water around Key West, and it's easy to see why repeat customers keep coming back. Both captains bring deep local knowledge, easygoing personalities, and a genuine passion for what they do, whether that's putting you on mahi, grouper, or swordfish offshore, or running a scenic trip out to the Dry Tortugas and Fort Jefferson. The boats are consistently praised as pristine and well-maintained, and the crew has a knack for making first-timers feel just as welcome as seasoned anglers. Beyond fishing, they also offer sunset sails and sandbar trips, making this a solid option for groups with mixed interests. One reviewer noted the offshore trips run a bit pricier than some competitors, but felt the boat quality and overall experience made it worthwhile. If you're planning a trip to Key West and want a day on the water that actually delivers, these guys are a safe bet.
Had a wonderful time on Next Chapter Charters with Captain James. It was very noticeable that he knew all the ins and out. Every spot we went whether it was anchoring or trolling we were always on fish. James was very helpful for every level of fishing experience. Boat was in immaculate condition and communication was fluid and super easy. Would definitely recommend Captain James to anybody looking to get on some fish, and will definitely be back out with him soon.
