Born and raised on the cobblestones of Boston’s North End, Bobby Agrippino invites you to explore Little Italy the way only a true neighbor can. His North End Boston Food Tour keeps groups intimate and routes spontaneous, weaving ...
Bobby brings something truly special to this experience: he's a lifelong North End resident who still lives in the neighborhood with deep family roots there. Reviewers are struck by how authentic the tour feels, noting moments like locals greeting Bobby by name on the street or his mom driving by and waving during the tour. His personal storytelling and genuine passion for the neighborhood shine through, transforming what could be a standard food tour into something that feels more like exploring with a friend who actually knows every corner's history. The food consistently impresses, with generous portions at multiple stops including pizza, pasta, wine, cheese, limoncello, and cannoli. Even Boston locals who've frequented the North End for years discover hidden gems and family-run shops they never would have found on their own. Many reviewers mention returning to purchase products from the tour stops, and appreciate that some shops ship nationwide. Bobby's warmth and knowledge create an experience that works equally well for office outings, groups of friends, or visitors wanting an insider's perspective on this historic Italian neighborhood.
I travel from Texas to Boston every year to experience a real winter. I thought I was well versed on the north end, until I attended Bobby’s tour. While waiting for our tour to start, I saw another tour “guide”, and heard his commentary, and wasn’t impressed. Our tour started and Bobby was as authentic as you could have imagined. Bobby grew up and still lives in the north end along with his mom. It’s easy to think it’s a gimmick, until during the tour, you have older residents that stop and know him by name and ask him about his family. That type of connection shows the authenticity of the whole tour and shows his deep rooted connection to the area. You’ll try some of the best spots in the north end, so come hungry. We came back the next day and purchased numerous products that we tried. Even better, some of the stores ship nationwide so you don’t have to worry like we did, if it was going to break in your luggage. There various stops throughout the tour are true mom and pop stores and restaurants. The cost of the tour is well worth it and Bobby was a wealth of knowledge about the north end. We definitely be back and bring more friends to the tour.
