Made a reservation a week before our outing but decided at the last minute to catch an earlier ferry. Called from Portland and we were able to move our 245PM reservation to a 1PM one. Perfect way to show houseguests, who don't bike, around the island and to get us to our picnic stop! Definitely highly recommend making a reservation to guarantee a cart for when you need it and plan your day around cart availability. Nice young guys manning the pickup and returns. Highly recommend Peaks Island Golf Carts for a few hours, a day, or a weekly rental.
