Just 20 minutes from the Grand Canyon’s South Rim, Raptor Ranch lets you stand eye-to-eye with nature’s most skilled fliers. Lifelong falconers Troy Morris and Ron Brown care for a remarkable cast of hawks, falcons, owls, and rave...
Tucked between Williams and the Grand Canyon, this quirky roadside stop packs a surprising amount into one visit. The Flintstones-themed Bedrock City brings out genuine nostalgia for many visitors, while the petting zoo area with "goatasauruses" and alpacas consistently earns laughs from both kids and adults. It's charmingly retro, so expect fun over polish. The standout experience here is the hands-on raptor encounter. Troy, Bill, and Ashley are regularly praised by name for being knowledgeable, genuinely passionate, and great with guests of all ages. Holding hawks, falcons, and owls while learning about these birds from people who clearly love what they do is something most visitors describe as a highlight of their Grand Canyon trip. For RV campers, the setup is solid with pull-through sites, a well-stocked store, and decent food on-site. A handful of visitors noted the park is a bit dated and one reviewer felt the photos online didn't fully match what they found in person, so it's worth going in with realistic expectations. That said, the overwhelming majority leave happy, and the staff's enthusiasm seems to be the common thread that makes it all work.
Very fun for adults and kids!
