RVA on Wheels invites you to discover Richmond from every angle—gliding on a Segway, cruising on a pedal-assist e-bike, rolling aboard a vintage-style trolley, or zipping through hidden corners in a nimble Gem car. Friendly local ...
Richmond's trolley and Segway tours have earned a loyal following, and it's easy to see why. Guides like Melissa, Jenny, Rachel, and Andrew consistently stand out for their deep knowledge of the city and their genuine enthusiasm for sharing it. Whether rolling through historic neighborhoods on a Segway or taking in the sights from a classic trolley, visitors regularly walk away feeling like they actually learned something, not just passed by it. The Segway tours are a particular highlight, covering everything from Hollywood Cemetery to the city's famous murals and Shockoe Bottom. First-timers need not worry since training is included and guides keep the pace comfortable for everyone. E-bike rentals round out the options for those wanting to explore more independently, with staff noted as helpful and accommodating. Solo travelers, couples, families, and wedding parties have all had strong experiences here, which speaks to how versatile the operation is. The staff's professionalism and warmth come up again and again, and even when small hiccups occur, like a Segway needing a quick swap mid-tour, the team handles it smoothly. If you're visiting Richmond and want an efficient, genuinely enjoyable way to get to know the city, this is a strong choice.
Bob, our a Hollywood Cemetery tour guide was exceptional! My little one is full of stories and showed her Daddy all of our pictures while recapping our day! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and extended time. A cemetery sounds strange for a 7 yo, but it's full of art, history, amazing stories, presidents, birds, beautiful 250 year old trees. We'd go again and again! Catch brunch at Sweet P's beforehand, you can't go wrong!
