Safari North Wildlife Park invites you to step into a world where discovery feels effortless and every age can reconnect with a sense of wonder. Family-owned and lovingly curated, the park brings animals from five continents to Mi...
Safari North is one of those places that quietly exceeds expectations. From the road it looks small, but once you're inside, there's a surprisingly large variety of animals spread across well-maintained, mostly paved paths that work well for strollers and wheelchairs alike. Repeat visitors are common here, with many families returning season after season, which says a lot. The standout experiences tend to involve the interactive elements: feeding giraffes, riding camels, a petting zoo, and a parakeet enclosure that visitors consistently rave about. A few reviewers noted that some add-ons like the train ride and animal feed require cash, so it's worth coming prepared. Arriving earlier in the day is also a smart move, as some activities wrap up before the park officially closes. Staff friendliness gets mixed signals across reviews, with most visitors describing warm and welcoming interactions, though a handful found communication and signage around pricing and directions a bit lacking. Overall though, the vibe here is relaxed and genuinely fun, especially for young kids and animal lovers who want something more hands-on than a typical zoo visit.
Since discovering this place five years ago we've come multiple times each season. It's a great zoo. Entirely outdoors. There's a building full of parakeets that will make you feel like a Disney princess. It's an amazing experience.
