Captain Nate and his crew have built something special here. What stands out most in these reviews is how consistently the team makes everyone feel welcome, whether you've never held a fishing rod or you're a seasoned angler. First-timers rave about the patient instruction and encouragement, while experienced fishers appreciate Nate's skill in finding the fish. The boat itself gets high marks for cleanliness and comfort, and the crew includes talented deckhands like Dave, Summer, Kenton, Mitch, and Kayin who clearly know their stuff. The catches are impressive across the board: yellowfin tuna, mahi mahi, blue marlin, wahoo, and skipjack tuna all make regular appearances. Even on slower fishing days, reviewers mention how hard the crew works to put you on the action. People consistently describe their trips as unforgettable experiences, with many saying it was a highlight of their Big Island visit. The crew handles seasickness with kindness and adapts well to different group dynamics, from girls' trips to family outings to birthday celebrations.
Awesome experience with Captain Nate and Chris on Sea Baby III. Had a great morning onboard and ended up catching a couple tuna, a Mahi Mahi and a Rainbow runner. This was a family trip with my 2 younger kids and wife. The crew treated us amazingly well and made sure our kids were able to haul in some fun fish! No hesitation to book Sea Baby III as the boat and crew are top notch.
