Sea Glass Kayaking offers unforgettable guided clear kayak tours through the scenic waters of Clearwater Beach and Tampa Bay. Guests can take in the world beneath the surface while watching for dolphins, manatees, stingrays, and o...
Kayaking with this crew is consistently described as one of those "worth every penny" experiences, with guides drawing particular praise for their knowledge, patience, and easy-going style. One guide, frequently mentioned by reviewers, keeps things relaxed while sharing local history, pointing out wildlife, and checking in on paddlers throughout the trip. Dolphins, giant snails, and interesting shells have all made appearances, making each outing feel a little unpredictable in the best way. The experience does involve a real physical workout, so going in with that expectation helps. That said, the pace is accommodating, and groups of all sizes, including large corporate outings, have come away with glowing impressions. If you're looking for a guided outdoor activity that blends light adventure with genuine local expertise, this one is hard to beat.
We took an 8am tour out to the bird sanctuary along the mangroves. Hailey was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the bay, the marine life and kept a great pace a found great spots to take breaks for my wife and sons who were first time kayakers. We didn’t get to see a dolphin on this tour but nature isn’t staged, we saw so many different birds in their natural habitats resting , feeding and flying that it made up for the lack of dolphins. We will definitely check out the evening tour the next time we are in Clearwater!
