An Unforgettable Key West Day on the Water! Having been out on multiple boat trips out of Key West over the years, I can easily say Sea Monkey Charters is at the very top of the list. A huge plus right from the start was the convenience of departing directly from the Hyatt Centric marina. Avoiding the usual chaos and traffic of out-of-the-way docks made getting underway completely seamless and stress-free. Captain Hans was fantastic from start to finish. The boat (SeaMonkey Deux) was pristine, spacious, and extremely comfortable for cruising all day. He guided us on a gorgeous run through the mangroves and took us out to incredible, crystal-clear sandbars that were absolute perfection. Since we were on a 6-hour tour, he also took us to lunch for the best grouper sandwich in Key West, which was an amazing mid-day stop. What really stood out, though, was Captain Hans’s attention to detail. He tailored the entire day around our group, knew all the best secluded spots, and went above and beyond by taking great candid photos of us throughout the trip and sending them over afterward. Not having to keep an eye on our phones all day while still coming away with great memories was an awesome touch. If you’re looking for a comfortable, hassle-free private charter in Key West with a captain who truly goes the extra mile, Hans and Sea Monkey Charters are second to none. Highly recommended!
