Show Me Seattle is a locally owned tour company built on one simple idea: the city shines brightest when shown by the people who call it home. Their carefully selected guides keep groups small and energy high, weaving local storie...
Show Me Seattle consistently delivers standout experiences thanks to their exceptional guides. Lucky gets frequent praise for his Pike Place Market tours, where his deep knowledge and genuine passion shine through as he introduces visitors to owner-operators and hidden gems they'd never find alone. The Boeing Factory tours are equally impressive, with guides like James and Matthew (the "singing tour guide") sharing aviation history and making logistics seamless. Casey stands out for his city tours, entertaining groups with both historical insights and musical performances while accommodating mobility needs and luggage storage for cruise passengers. The food tastings on the Pike Place Market tours get rave reviews across the board, with guests discovering local favorites and appreciating the well-curated selection. Guides like Bob, Chip, and Lisa bring the market's history alive in ways that transform a simple walk into something memorable. One reviewer noted disappointment with the Boeing tour itself, finding it expensive for what felt like limited access to the factory floor, though this seems to reflect the Boeing facility's restrictions rather than the tour company's efforts. Overall, visitors consistently highlight how these guides elevate their Seattle experience through knowledge, personality, and genuine care for their groups.
The Boeing Factory Tour with Guided Transport from Seattle. Our Booking was made using another platform but a better deal is available by booking with Show Me Seattle direct. We were picked up as scheduled with good confirmation and instructions beforehand. Our guide (James Grindle) has a real passion for aviation and provided a wonderful commentary during the 45 minute drive from Seattle to Everett. His knowledge of the build operations and the evolution of the Boeing 700 series of aircraft was full of facts and detail. The factory tour was restricted to an observation platform above the factory floor but it showed the impressive nature of Boeings Business. I wish I had allowed more time to appreciate the displays and simulators on the Future of Flight Aviation Centre however I was sidetracked by some excellent clam chowder in the cafe. Overall this was a great experience; perhaps a bit overwhelming and certainly a must-do for “techos” and aviation buffs. There were two busloads on my tour and it was fortunate for us that we had James as our driver and guide - he is a real gem.
