We had an incredible time at Shandoaha Axe Throwing! My husband and our 8 and 12-year-old sons stumbled upon this gem, and it was the perfect family outing. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, making sure we felt right at home. She explained safety procedures and axe-throwing techniques with such patience, especially with my boys, giving them helpful tips to make the experience even more enjoyable. The food was amazing! The pork tacos were absolutely delicious, and my sons couldn’t get enough of the pretzels with queso, and the garlic Old Bay tater tots – they were literally fighting over them! After throwing axes, we ended the visit with the kids having a blast in the paint room. They each took home their own unique paint-flinging canvas masterpiece, which was a fun, creative touch. We didn’t have time to try the virtual golf, but we’re already planning our next visit! If you haven’t been to Shandoaha Axe Throwing, you’re definitely missing out on an amazing time!
