I booked a private scratch and ride for my horse lover friend and I, and we had a blast! It was so great to be able to spend some more time getting to know the horses, brushing them, getting the hands on experience of putting the tack on, and then going for a ride! Our guide was Belle, and she was wonderful and entertaining, and let us gallop up some of the hills after we passed the skills test. The horses were all happy and healthy and well cared for, the tack was good quality and well fitting, and even the bathrooms were impressively clean! Highly recommend for a horse person to get their fix at a place that you feel good about supporting.
