This is the best historical walking tour I think I have ever done. I love tours and take them whenever I travel somewhere new to help me get oriented before exploring on my own. I will even take the cheesy ones but intentionally sought out something higher quality in Savannah. Our guide, David, said his family has been there for eight generations. Describing it as a local perspective does not do it justice. He was fun, articulate, unhurried, patient when we couldn’t answer any of his questions 😆, took us into special local businesses, and made sure we didn’t overheat. It felt like an exclusive private tour and I learned so much. I couldn’t recommend it more!!
