Triskelee Farm is a three-generation, family-run haven in West Linn where curious visitors can experience real farm life up close. Wander past alpacas, goats, ostriches, and buzzing beehives on interactive tours, join seasonal cam...
This family-owned operation has carved out a niche as an intimate, less overwhelming alternative to bigger commercial farms. Visitors consistently praise the variety of animals—from ostriches and emus to alpacas, goats, and peacocks—and the guided tours get high marks for being both educational for adults and engaging for kids. The owners come across as genuinely accommodating and responsive, whether they're hosting birthday parties, scout groups, or multi-generational family outings. Their seasonal events like Easter celebrations and summer camps seem well-organized and thoughtful. The farm excels at private events and parties, with reviewers highlighting the covered outdoor venue space and kid-friendly amenities like bounce houses. Many mention the surprisingly delicious ostrich sliders available at their markets. The staff clearly knows how to work with different age groups and group sizes—one review mentioned seamlessly hosting 100 people for a scout event. One visitor noted concerns about crowded conditions in the bird area, but this seems to be an isolated observation. The location strikes a nice balance of being close to Portland while feeling like a countryside escape.
We took a group of toddler cousins, parents, and grandparents on an hour long tour here for a family activity and it was so fun! The tour was interesting and informative for the adults, and lots of fun for the kids. The day we booked for our tour ended up being very hot (over 100 degrees), and we were offered an earlier slot in the day to make our experience more comfortable, which was very welcome! Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and great with the kids. I highly recommend this farm for family outings with mixed ages :) we will be back!
