We had such a great experience with Venice Parasailing! Joan and Brian were an amazing crew. They did a great job explaining what to expect before we went up, which really helped ease our nerves. We expected the parasailing to be a little scary, but once we were in the air, it felt like we were sitting on a swing! We did the 1,200-foot parasail, and we were up in the air for approximately 10 minutes. Once we got up there, it was surprisingly serene, peaceful, and relaxing. The air wasn’t being shoved in our faces like we expected, and breathing up that high was easy and comfortable. You do spend some time on the boat with other passengers, and we happened to be with another really nice group who were kind enough to take pictures and videos of us while we were up in the air. That was such a bonus! We were even able to see fish swimming below us, which made the experience even more amazing. Other people on the boat were lucky enough to spot dolphins and turtles, too! We would 100% do this again! Next time, we’ll bring a GoPro or make sure our phone has a secure lanyard so we can take our own pictures and videos from up in the air. If you’re nervous or wondering whether parasailing is scary, just do it! Joan and Brian made us feel comfortable from start to finish, and the experience was way more peaceful than we expected. Highly recommend!
