This Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill earns strong praise across the board, with guests consistently highlighting its location as a standout feature. Walking distance to Union Station, the Capitol building, and the Smithsonian museums makes it a practical base for exploring DC. The recently renovated rooms, lobby, and ballrooms have all drawn compliments, and the on-site restaurant gets solid marks too. The staff comes up repeatedly in reviews as friendly and accommodating, and the clean, well-kept rooms add to the overall positive impression. A handful of guests noted some inconsistencies in service quality, and the HVAC system can be a bit noisy at night, but these feel like minor friction points against an otherwise comfortable stay. The pool is a small but appreciated bonus, especially for families. For anyone visiting Washington DC, this hotel offers a genuinely convenient and polished experience, with conference facilities rounding it out as a smart pick for business travelers as well.
We stayed here over the holiday wknd but writing this review for the restaurant across the street. We went to all sorts of places to eat but on our last day found ART AND SOUL at the Yotel. Incredible food and incredible chef! MUST TRY!!
