Do the private tour! I didn’t even know there was whale watching in Santa Barbara. I contemplated the big boat vs a private boat. The experience we got on the private tour was breath taking. The pictures can’t even explain the beauty of the ocean sea life. However, the pics are still amazing! Captain Adam was spot on and provided us a natural environment of multiple whales sightings along with sea lions, dolphins multiple bird species… The breach was a HUGE bonus. Once in a lifetime.
