We had a great visit to South Padre Island with my dad and kids in September. This is our favorite spot and have stayed many times at the Suntide. This year the highlight of our trip was connecting with Andy and having him share his immense sandcastle building knowledge with us. He is such a joy to be around and learn from. The kids loved it and wanted to build sandcastles every day we were there after learning his techniques. It was a great activity for them, me and my husband and my dad to enjoy together. If you are visiting, book a lesson with him early in the trip and it will keep your family entertained the whole time! It’s great to do on a summer trip or a fall trip! He is also out a lot building on his own and very easy to talk to and invite to help him. Thank you Andy for making our beach trip so memorable 😊
