Captain Bill leads a small team of guides, including JJ and Randy, who run intimate airboat tours through the Florida Everglades. Reviewers consistently praise the depth of knowledge these guides bring, covering everything from wildlife behavior to the history and ecology of the glades. Morning tours, sunset cruises, and even night fishing trips are all available, giving visitors some flexibility in how they experience the area. What stands out most across the reviews is how personal the experience feels compared to the larger commercial airboat operations on the Tamiami Trail. Small group sizes, direct communication before the tour, and guides who genuinely seem passionate about where they work make a noticeable difference. Multiple reviewers specifically called out that the team accommodated late arrivals due to Florida traffic, which is worth knowing if you're coming from a distance. One practical note: the launch site can be tricky to find, so give yourself extra travel time.
Captain Bill was amazing! We did a sunset boat tour and the captain was super knowledgeable and helpful. He was also very kind and accommodating about us being slightly late due to Florida traffic and helped us get there. We saw lots of gators and the nature was beautiful. Would definitely recommend!
