Families consistently praise the warm, patient instructors here, with Hillary and Kate earning special mentions for their skill in teaching beginners and building kids' confidence. The facility offers more than just riding lessons - visitors enjoy camps, tours, and interactions with various farm animals including bunnies, goats, pigs, and horses. Parents report their children having genuinely memorable experiences, with instructors taking extra time to let kids connect with the animals. The staff comes across as friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps families coming back. A couple of guests had challenging overnight stays, citing strong animal odors and basic accommodations that didn't meet their expectations. The barn-conversion lodging situation seems hit-or-miss depending on your comfort level with authentic farm living. However, these experiences appear to be outliers. The overwhelming majority of visitors focus on the day activities and lessons, which consistently deliver. If you're considering an equestrian lesson, camp, or farm tour for your kids, the track record here is excellent. Just know the overnight retreat aspect may require a love of rustic farm life.
My granddaughter and I visited for the 1 hour tour. My granddaughter was delighted to able to pet and hold the small animals. Megan was an amazing tour guide.
