- Arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled rental
- Complete the online waiver before your rental
- Return equipment by your reservation end time; a late fee applies in 20-minute increments
- Bring a change of clothes, as lake conditions can change rapidly and you may get wet
- Paddling operations close during NOAA Small Craft Advisories, Gale Warnings, Thunderstorm Warnings, or equivalent alerts
Cancellation Policy
Full refund 48+ hours before your rental. Receive a 50% refund 24–48 hours before. No refund within 24 hours or for no-shows. Full refund if the operator cancels for safety due to weather.
FAQs
Wear a swimsuit or quick-dry clothing rather than cotton, water shoes, a hat, sunglasses with a strap, and reef-safe sunscreen. Bring a towel, water bottle, change of clothes, and a phone in a waterproof case. Leave valuables at home.
On-site paddle rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Hydrate well at Lake Tahoe's 6,225-foot elevation. Water temperatures stay 50–65°F even in summer.
