Things to know
Closed-toe shoes that can be worn in and out of the water are mandatory. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your lesson may not be available, and bookings are non-refundable at this time.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel or rebook 0–48 hours before, or no-show, no refund. If you cancel or rebook 49+ hours before, 50% refund. Full refund if Jetties Sailing Center cancels due to wind or weather.
FAQs
Have your toddler arrive wearing a bathing suit (on already). Bring a rash guard top, closed-toe shoes that can be worn in and out of the water (mandatory), a towel, warm dry clothes to change into, and a snack and water bottle for after the lesson.
You must wear a life jacket. One is provided, and you can also bring your own (either a Type III U.S. Coast Guard-approved vest or a U.S. Coast Guard-approved swim-aid by Body Glove). You can also bring a floatie or personal flotation device; one will be provided if you don’t have one.
You can join the onshore portions of the lesson, but you can’t join the sailing portion. Plan to watch from shore while your toddler sails with the instructor.
