Know before you go

• Infants must weigh more than 17 pounds to board, and minors must be accompanied by an adult
• Pre-clear dogs and other pets with the captain and crew days before departure; dogs on the island beach must remain leashed
• Expect 1 to 3 steps between the boat and beach depending on the tide; a railing and step stool are available
• Weather may prevent departure or require the captain to end the charter early for safety
• Bring food, drinks, sunblock, and other personal items
• Plan for a customary gratuity at your discretion, typically 15% to 20% of the trip cost
