Little River Fishing Fleet clearly knows how to put customers on fish. Reviewers consistently praise captains like Henry, Josh, Spanky, and Lee, along with first mates Blake, Dawson, Austin, and others for their work ethic and expertise. The crews are attentive throughout trips, constantly baiting lines, managing gear, and relocating when fish aren't biting. Sea bass seems to be the star catch, with many reporting sore arms from non-stop action, though longer Gulf Stream trips yield impressive variety including mahi mahi, tuna, and various snappers. Several guests mentioned crews cleaned and filleted their catches afterward, which is a nice touch. The operation runs both half-day and extended 11-hour trips, accommodating both casual fishers and serious anglers. Families rave about how patient and friendly the crews are with kids, while experienced fishers appreciate the captains' knowledge and willingness to adapt to challenging conditions. Even during rough seas post-hurricane weather, captains earned praise for safety and still managing to deliver productive fishing. One review mentioned a trip cancellation with poor communication and follow-up, but this appears to be an isolated incident. Overall, guests describe these trips as memorable experiences they plan to repeat, with many already booking return visits.
Captain Trip and First Mate Austin were so awesome. My husband and I are visiting Myrtle Beach from Massachusetts and took a trip today. And we had so much fun with both Trip and Austin. Would definitely highly recommend them! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for a great experience and a really fun time.
