1942 WWII Open-Cockpit Biplane Ride in Easton

See the Eastern Shore from an open cockpit, with room to customize your route

    Duration

    20 mins

    Highlights

Fly between two sets of wings in a modified 1942 World War II trainer, powered by a nine-cylinder, 300-horsepower radial engine. Experience open-air flying over the Eastern Shore countryside.

    • See St. Michaels and Oxford from above on the typical flight route
    • Customize your route to places within 20 miles of Easton airport
    • Enjoy gentle banks and turns rather than aerobatic maneuvers

    Important details

    • Weight limit: 200 lbs dressed to fly. Special flight planning is available for slightly heavier passengers.
    • Requires safely entering and exiting the front cockpit by lifting each leg over a 34-inch side while holding a shoulder-high handle with one hand.
    • The aircraft cannot accommodate passengers with disabilities.
    • Flights require 3–5 miles of visibility. Steady winds must remain below approximately 15–18 knots; shifting winds above 10 knots may prevent flying.
    • Forecast temperatures throughout the flight must stay between 50°F (10°C) and 85°F (29°C).
    • Arrive 20 minutes early.

    Cancellation Policy

Give at least 24 hours' notice to change or cancel your reservation. Cancellations and no-shows within 24 hours incur a 100% cancellation fee. Flights canceled for unfavorable weather are rescheduled for a later date. Flights do not operate in rain or near thunderstorms and may be canceled even in fair weather if unsafe conditions are forecast.
