Important details
- Arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled reservation
- Complete the online waiver before arrival
- Return equipment by your reservation end time; a late fee applies in 20-minute increments
- Check weather and water conditions before paddling, as conditions can change rapidly
- Avoid paddling during a high wind advisory or thunderstorm
- Expect operations to close during NOAA Small Craft Advisories, Gale Warnings, Thunderstorm Warnings, or equivalent alerts
Cancellation Policy
Full refund 48+ hours before; 50% refund 24–48 hours before. No refund within 24 hours or for no-shows. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather.
FAQs
Wear a swimsuit or quick-dry clothing, water shoes, a hat, sunglasses with a strap, and reef-safe sunscreen. Bring a towel, water bottle, change of clothes, and a phone in a waterproof case. Leave valuables at home.
From October through May, onsite rentals are available from 10 am to 2 pm. From June through September, reservation availability is 8 am to 4 pm.
Expect to get wet. Lake Tahoe sits at 6,225 feet, and the water stays 50–65°F even in summer, so hydrate and bring a change of clothes for your paddle rental.
