Sailing with this outfit feels like stepping into a different world, and reviewers can't stop raving about the experience. The crew consistently earns praise for being friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about tall ships and sailing history. Captains Jamie and Mark get called out by name for their expertise and welcoming personalities, while the entire staff creates an atmosphere where guests feel like honored visitors rather than just paying customers. The complimentary Moomers ice cream has become a delightful signature touch that people mention almost as much as the sailing itself. What really stands out is how involved passengers get to be in the actual sailing process. The crew takes time to teach and explain, letting guests help hoist sails or even steer the ship, which transforms a simple boat ride into something memorable. The experience works beautifully whether you're booking a two-hour sunset cruise or a longer overnight adventure. Communication is reportedly excellent from booking through departure, and they're flexible about accommodating special requests like weddings and private charters. The sailing itself is smooth and relaxing, with multiple people specifically mentioning it's great for anyone worried about seasickness.
Tall Ship Sailing is a must visit when you're in TC! We wanted a charter for a specific day for our Wedding and they worked to make it happen! From start to finish they made it effortless on our part with their timely communication and friendly demeanor with what seemed like our constant questions. The day of the crew were beyond amazing and took the best care of us and our guests. The food was amazing and even seconds were requested by guests!! Tall Ship Sailing super exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be Sailing again with them!
