Great Food, Excellent Views, and Rich History! We had a wonderful experience dining here! The food was really great and the views of the surrounding area and lake from the restaurant are absolutely excellent. The restaurant itself is a spacious, cozy, woody lodge with a lot of character and deep roots. If you are interested in the local history, they have fascinating reading material detailing the heritage of the resort dating back to 1862. The Food & Drinks We tried a few different breakfast items, and everything was delicious: Huevos Rancheros / Savory Breakfast Bowl:Packed with flavor, layered with a rich sauce, perfectly sliced avocado, and fresh green onions. Eggs Benedict:Perfectly poached and topped with a generous, creamy hollandaise sauce alongside a side of crispy, golden-brown hashbrowns. Classic Breakfast Platter: A hearty and well-made plate featuring two sunny-side-up eggs, crispy bacon, sausage, and powdered-sugar-dusted French toast. Hot Chocolate:Don't miss out on their hot chocolate! It comes in a charming, custom souvenir mug topped with a mountain of whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon. Location & Accessibility The convenience factor is a huge plus—it is located right beside the camping ground. If you are staying at the campgrounds and need a break from campfire cooking, having a sit-down meal with great service is incredibly accessible and convenient. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
