The entire deposit is forfeited if the boat overturns, in addition to other damage charges.

- Late returns incur a separate charge of $50 for every half-hour or portion thereof.
- Damage and lost-equipment charges are separate from the listed price: repair labor is $65 per hour plus materials, and non-repairable propeller damage costs $75–$150. Additional charges may apply depending on the boat's condition at return.

- Follow navigation markers, posted speed and wake restrictions, access limits, and applicable boating laws. Do not sublet the boat without prior written permission.
- Arrive at your scheduled check-in time even if rain is forecast, to decide whether to proceed. The activity may be stopped for weather, medical, or safety reasons.
- Be ready to accept the boat at the scheduled time; otherwise, it may be rented to someone else.
