- A Tonto National Forest Parking Pass is required and not included; it costs $8 at most gas stations or $12 per vehicle at recreation site kiosks
- Rental contracts require an adult age 18 or older; minors require a parent-completed waiver
- Wear a life jacket while using the rental
- Do not drag kayaks or paddleboards; charges apply for lost or damaged property

Pick up Sunday–Thursday from 7:00 AM–5:00 PM or Friday–Saturday from 7:00 AM–6:30 PM. Return your 24-hour rental 24 hours after your reservation time.
Use the included foam blocks and straps for car-top transport. Most cars can carry 2–3 kayaks or 5 paddleboards; trucks can carry 5–8 kayaks or 6–12 paddleboards.
Bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses with a strap, drinking water, snacks, water shoes or strapped sandals, a towel, a change of clothes, and a dry bag for valuables.
