Capt Tom was great. He was super helpful with every aspect of the experience. From offering fishing spot advice to navigation. We rented the center console 24' Sea Pro/250hp and it worked well for 8 full sized folks. Was it super roomy? No, but it worked well for cruising around and hitting the beach. It ran flawlessly and we never had a hiccup. It would hit 40 fully loaded so we were able to get around at a decent clip. I've never owned a 250 and if you haven't, set up a fuel fund also. One bit of advice for new boaters to the Cape Coral/Ft Meyers area.. There are "no wake zones" everywhere and not all are marked well, and they can be in the middle of a channel for no apparent reason, so pay attention to what everyone else is doing around you. We got stopped once but they just gave us a warning and let us go. It was worth every penny though. Thanks Speed Dock.
