Know before you go
- Renters must be at least 25 years old, and operators must be at least 21
- Complete the Cape Family Boat Rental waiver before pickup
- Wear the provided Engine Cut-Off Switch lanyard when operating above idle speed
- Carry photo identification and required boating safety credentials when operating a vessel with 10 horsepower or more in Florida
- Operators born on or after January 1, 1988 must meet Florida boating education requirements unless an eligible attendant operator is onboard
- Return the boat with a full fuel tank or pay a $225 refueling charge for one day or $325 for multi-day rentals
- Pay a $100 late fee for each 30 minutes after the boat is due back

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations require 10 full days' notice. No refunds for cancellations. No-shows and cancellations within 48 hours are subject to the full rental fee. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather.

Visitors must meet Florida boating safety education requirements. You may use proof of an equivalent boater safety course or exam that meets or exceeds Florida’s requirements instead of a Florida Boating Safety Education Identification Card.
Insurance is offered for coverage of damage or injuries caused by operating the vessel. If you decline it, you may be personally liable for damage or injuries during your boat rental.
