Highlights
- Meet at least seven tethered birds of prey during an in-depth falconry introduction
- Handle at least two birds and learn how to identify them in the wild
- Fly the birds currently in training across an adjoining 4-acre field
- Discover falcons, hawks, owls and a pied crow, with an eagle sometimes participating
Know before you go
- Ages 6+ only; younger children require prior approval
- Ages under 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult
- All attendees need a paid participant spot; unpaid observers are not allowed
- Wear neutral colors only, with no bright or neon colors, skirts, billowing fabric, or fuzzy or furry materials
- Wear sneakers or hiking shoes; open-toed shoes are not allowed
- Bring water, sunscreen and bug spray for the outdoor session
- Allow an hour before and after your scheduled time for weather-related schedule changes
- Arrive no more than 15 minutes before the session starts
- Park facing the cones and fence in a row, do not park on the grass, then walk to the back of the White House
- Text-message notifications are required for potential weather-related changes
- A minimum of 3 participants is required; if it is not met, a Private Elite Falconry Experience is available for $540
Cancellation Policy
Reschedule if you cancel more than 48 hours before start. Cancellations within 48 hours of the start time forfeit all payments.

A minimum of 3 participants is required. If it is not reached 48 hours before the experience, choose a private experience or reschedule. If you are only in town for that date and decline the private option, a refund is available.
This outdoor experience may shift start or stop times because of weather. In extreme weather, a reschedule may be offered if you are local. If you can only attend at your scheduled time and enough participants are present, the experience may be attempted under cover, but this is not guaranteed.
Bring plenty of water; reverse-osmosis water refills and a restroom are available on site.
