Important details
- Arrive at the boat 20 minutes before departure; allow extra parking time on weekends and holidays
- The main charterer must be 21 or older; every person counts as a passenger regardless of age
- Groups of 7–13 are bareboat charters and require a qualified captain or operator
- Self-operation requires a US Coast Guard Master license, 100 days of Lake Tahoe experience and insurance covering the boat and marina
- For groups of 7–13 using a captain from the referral list, captain service and fuel are not included; you'll pay the captain directly $100 per hour
- Captain gratuity is not included
- Leave glass, red wine, overly messy foods and pets behind

Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 10 days before your booking for a full refund. Cancellations within 10 days and no-shows are nonrefundable. Fourth of July Fireworks, Memorial Day weekend, the week of July 4, and Labor Day weekend are nonrefundable one month before booking. Full refund if the operator cancels; weather cancellations are determined by the operator.

FAQs
Yes. For groups over 6 passengers, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) regulations require a bareboat charter, and you must pay the captain separately in addition to the prepaid charter fee. An additional $100 per hour is due upon arrival and paid directly to your captain. Group size is based on the number of passengers at the time of booking, and each guest counts as a passenger regardless of age.
Arrive at the marina at least 30 minutes before your charter (longer on weekends and holidays) and plan to be at the boat 15 minutes prior. If you arrive late, your time on the lake will be shortened.
Yes. Bring your own food, snacks, and drinks. Water is provided, and the boat has a cooler or small refrigerator. Ice isn’t provided, so bring your own.
