Know before you go
- Meet the minimum age of 16
- Bring a valid driver's license or government-issued ID
- Height must be between 4'11" and 6'4"
- Weight limit is 400 lbs
- Requires mounting, balancing, and steering a standard bicycle independently
- A parent or guardian signature is required for riders under 18
- Complete the waiver before arrival
- Ride only from East Portal; e-bikes cannot be taken on the Hiawatha shuttle
- Expect packed gravel and dirt that may be uneven, with weather and trail conditions that can vary
- Plan around seasonal trail hours of 8:30am–5:00pm from late spring through fall
