Paddle Halibut Cove after a scenic Kachemak Bay boat ride
5 hrs
Kayak gear, guide, transportation
Cross Kachemak Bay State Park by boat, then explore Halibut Cove in tandem kayaks with a guide. Paddle along sea cliffs and sea caves, pause for lunch and beachcombing, and look for local marine life.
Cancel more than 30 days before your trip for a deposit refund less a $100 processing fee. No refunds within 30 days or for no-shows. Trips operate rain or shine. If winds prevent kayaking, a motorized Halibut Cove tour is offered instead at no discount.
Tell Greetwell in advance if anyone in your group is over 70 years old, over 250 pounds, over 6’2”, or has mobility issues such as difficulty walking or bending. The trip has physical requirements, and the operator needs this information ahead of time.
No experience is necessary. You paddle in double kayaks, wear a life jacket, and get safety and kayaking instruction before you head out.
You kayak about 2.5 to 3 hours total, split between morning and afternoon, with a lunch break and some beachcombing in between.
