- Arrive at the marina at least 30 minutes before departure and be at the boat 20 minutes before
- Allow extra time for parking on weekends and holidays; late arrivals reduce your time on the water
- Main charterer must be age 21 or older for groups of 1–6
- Count every person, regardless of age, as a passenger
- Leave glass, red wine, overly messy foods, and pets behind
- Groups of 7–13 operate as Bareboat Charters, with the boat rented separately from a captain or operator
- If using an independent captain from the referral list, captain services and fuel cost $100 per hour, paid directly to the captain on arrival and not included in the listed price
- Self-operation requires a U.S. Coast Guard Masters license, 100 days of Lake Tahoe experience, and insurance covering the boat and marina
- Expect captain gratuity to be separate from the listed price
Cancellation Policy
Receive a full refund when you cancel more than 10 days before your booking. Cancellations within 10 days and no-shows are nonrefundable. Receive a full refund if the operator cancels, including weather cancellations they determine.

Yes. If you book for 7 or more passengers, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) regulations require a bareboat charter and you pay the captain separately in addition to your prepaid charter fee. An additional $100 per hour is due on arrival and paid directly to your captain. Group size is based on the number of passengers at the time of booking (each guest counts, regardless of age).
