Know before you go
- Arrive 30 minutes before your trip start time
- Paddling experience and attentive paddling are required
- Complete the electronic waiver and rental agreement before arrival; a parent or guardian must sign for anyone under 18
- Wear your life jacket while on the river
- Bring at least one cell phone per group while on the river
- Assist with carrying your kayak from the river to the parking lot at North Hampton Point
- Stop at North Hampton Point; the listed price does not include the additional $50 per person fee that applies if you do not stop there
Cancellation Policy
Refunds are available only for cancellations made at least 24 hours before departure. No refund for cancellations less than 3 hours before departure or no-shows.
FAQs
Dress for the water and air temperatures, and expect to get wet. Wear water shoes or old tennis shoes; flip-flops are not recommended. Bring water, a snack, sun protection, bug spray, and a towel and change of clothes to leave in your vehicle. Minimize personal belongings on the river.
Bring at least one cell phone per group. Use a dry bag and tether it to you or your kayak; cell phone dry bags are available to rent or purchase.
Use the restroom before arriving. Restroom facilities at the parks are not managed by Cuyahoga Valley Adventures.
