Know before you go

• Arrive 10 minutes early to gear up
• Ages 3-12 must use a tandem kayak with a parent or guardian; a parent or guardian must sign a risk form for each child
• Ages 13-15 may use a solo kayak only with a parent or guardian on the water; a parent or guardian must sign a risk form
• Ages 16-17 may use a solo kayak alone on the water; a parent or guardian must sign a risk form
• Ages 18+ must sign a risk form
• Solo kayaks accommodate one person up to 320 lbs; tandem kayaks hold up to 490 lbs total for two adults and a pet or child
• Leave irreplaceable belongings ashore; capsizing is possible and personal belongings are not covered for loss, theft, or damage
