Adaptive Kayak Rental at North Park

Explore North Park Lake in a specially equipped kayak designed to support adaptive paddling. Take in the wooded setting, fresh air, and time on the water at your own pace.

Itinerary

Join us at the North Park boathouse to register or check in for your registration, and complete your waiver.

Then head out to the patio to be fitted for a PFD and given a paddle and safety briefing by our experienced kayak crew.

Our dockside crew will then launch you in your boat for your paddle outing. When you return they will pull you back onto the dock launch.

Important details

• Arrive 10 minutes before your reservation to gear up
• Complete an Acknowledgement & Assumption of Risk Form; a parent or guardian must sign for anyone under 18
• Ages 3 (or 35 lbs) to 12 must ride in a tandem kayak with a parent or guardian
• Ages 13–15 may use a solo kayak only with a parent or guardian on the water
• Solo kayaks hold one person up to 320 lbs; tandem kayaks hold up to 490 lbs total
