Set sail on calm, protected waters off the Outer Banks as Captain Stuart guides you to the habitat of bottlenose dolphins. This two-hour afternoon cruise offers engaging narration and plenty of photo opportunities for all ages.
What time do tours depart?
During summer, departures are at 10 AM, 1 PM and around 6 PM; spring and fall schedules vary.
Do I need to reserve in advance?
Advance reservations are recommended but not required; most guests book two or three days ahead.
Is there a minimum age?
No. Infants are welcome but count toward the passenger limit.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain does not cancel the cruise, but downpours or thunderstorms will.
Are restrooms available onboard?
Yes, the boat has a spacious restroom.
How many passengers can the boat hold?
The vessel is licensed for 70 but limited to 49 guests per tour.
Can we bring food or drinks?
No alcohol or bananas; soft drinks and snacks are sold onboard.
Where do we check in?
Check in 30 minutes before departure at 400 Queen Elizabeth Avenue in Manteo.
Tours operate seasonally from June through October. Arrive at the dock 30 minutes before departure to check in.
Cancel at least 72 hours before departure for a 90% refund. Cancellations within 71 hours or no-shows are charged the full ticket price unless the seats are resold.
