Move beyond basic sailing with hands-on training for cruising aboard larger boats in coastal waters. Learn to manage onboard systems and plan multi-day trips as you build toward independent day sailing in moderate conditions.
Cancel or reschedule at least 2 weeks before the course starts for a refund minus booking, processing, and shipped-material fees. Reschedule to a future course session at no extra cost with 2 weeks' notice. No-shows are charged the full price. If the operator cancels due to weather or unforeseen issues, refunds exclude booking and payment processing fees.

Bring sunscreen, water, snacks, a wide-brim hat with a lanyard or tether, and polarized sunglasses with a lanyard. Wear weather-appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, and sailing gloves. Bring a US Coast Guard-approved Type I, II, or III personal flotation device if you have one.
The coastal cruising course docks at a nearby marina with restaurant options for lunch. You may also bring lunch to eat on shore or on the boat.
Vessels are always in motion. If you get motion sickness, consider over-the-counter motion sickness medicine.
