Know before you go
- Expect captain service to be paid separately from the listed price at $50 per charter hour at pickup before departure; tips are optional
- Use a pre-approved captain or independently hire a captain with a 100-gross-register-ton U.S. Coast Guard Master license who knows the area
- A responsible adult age 18 or older must accompany minors under 18
- Children under 6 are required to wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket while the vessel is moving
- Alcohol is permitted only for ages 21+
- Wheelchair access is partial and requires transferring out of the chair with assistance
- Supervise young children closely at Crab Island, where currents may be strong
