    Explore a remote Madison River wilderness stretch accessible only by foot or boat. Your guide rows the raft, pairing early rapids with a relaxed afternoon float.

    • Ride Class III rapids and approach the technical Class IV Kitchen Sink
    • Scan rocky cliffs and skies for eagles, mountain sheep, goats, bears, or moose
    • Cool off at swimming holes along the mostly mellow afternoon float
    • Enjoy a small-group wilderness river experience with no paddling required

    Itinerary

    • Make a reservation online or directly with the office
    • Read your confirmation email to be prepared for your trip
    • Call our office to ask any questions, change, update or cancel your reservation
    • Fill out the online waivers linked in your confirmation email (every participant needs to sign one)
    • Show up at the Warm Springs Boar Launch to meet your guides and check in
    • Complete check in
    • Get river ready
    • Leave all personal items in your vehicle, lock it, and give your keys to the guides
    • Load into MWW vehicle to the put-in
    • We drive you to the put-in where you will receive a safety briefing by the trip leader and a boat assignment
    • You meet your guide, load into the raft and go down the river!
    • You will paddle back to your car at Warm Springs

    Allow about 6-7 hours from pulling into the lot to pulling out heading on your way.

    Important details

    • Arrive between 9:15 and 9:30 AM
    • Ages 8+ only
    • An adult age 18+ must accompany children under 14
    • Trips require at least 5 participants to operate
    • Maximum 56-inch chest size for the personal flotation device
    • Requires reasonable physical condition, basic mobility, and a quarter-mile hike on an unmaintained trail
    • Pregnant travelers cannot participate
    • Requires following guide directions and signing a waiver before participation
    • Ages 15 and under must walk around the Kitchen Sink; ages 16+ may run it, subject to water levels and guide direction

    Cancellation Policy

    Free cancellation 48+ hours before departure. Cancellations 24–48 hours before departure are charged 50%; within 24 hours and no-shows are charged in full.

    This class was such a fun way to spend a the afternoon. We went in knowing nothing about fly fishing, and came out actually feeling like we could do this again. No need to buy or borrow gear beforehand either - wetsuits and shoes are included, so we just showed up ready to go. Our guide Everett was awesome. He explained things clearly without ever making it feel like a lecture, and was endlessly patient every time we messed up a cast (which was often). If you’ve been thinking about trying fly fishing, just do this class. We had such a good time and it was a low-stress way to start. We loved it and would absolutely do it again!
