Itinerary

Check-in: 8:30 AM Meet your instructor, complete a quick orientation, and learn the basics of scuba gear, breathing techniques, and underwater safety.

Shallow Water/Pool Training: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Start your training in calm, shallow water where you’ll practice key scuba skills and get comfortable breathing and moving underwater.

Lunch: 11:00- 1:00

Ocean Dive: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM Head out by boat for your first real dive! Explore one of Key Largo’s beautiful coral reefs under the close supervision of your PADI instructor.

Wrap-Up: 4:30 PM Return to the dock, celebrate your first dive, and learn how this experience can count toward your PADI Open Water certification.

Important details

• Arrive for check-in at 8:30 AM
• Ages 10+ only; no prior scuba experience or certification required
• Requires swimming and floating comfortably
• Complete a PADI Medical Questionnaire and liability waiver before entering the water
• Physician approval is required before diving if you answer yes to any medical questionnaire item
• Pregnancy and certain heart, lung, ear, sinus, seizure, asthma, surgery, or respiratory conditions require physician clearance
• Do not dive under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or impairing medications
• Parent or guardian consent is required for divers under 18
• Wait at least 18 hours after diving before flying or ascending to high altitude
• A credit card is required to hold your reservation
