Bighorn Slot Canyon 5.2-Mile Guided Hike Near Escalante

This quirky little cave museum near Kanab is a genuine crowd-pleaser for travelers who love offbeat roadside stops. Visitors rave about the fluorescent rock displays, local history, and the genuinely welcoming staff and owners. There's even a small coffee shop on site, which makes it a solid pit stop on a long drive through southern Utah. A handful of visitors felt the experience leaned more toward gift shop than museum, so it's worth going in with the right expectations. Think of it as a fun, affordable curiosity rather than a deep dive into cave exploration. Families especially seem to enjoy it, with kids gravitating toward the souvenir shop and the cave atmosphere keeping things memorable year after year.
