Paddle a clear kayak at night and spot glowing comb jellies with LED lighting
2 hours
Clear kayak, Guide, Photos
Launch from Merritt Island and paddle into the Indian River Lagoon at night to look for bioluminescent comb jellies from a clear kayak. Choose an evening start time and glide with a guide as you watch the water light up beneath you.
Bioluminescence visibility varies with water conditions, season, and weather, and LED lighting does not guarantee sightings. All guests must wear a PFD, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Not recommended for guests with significant mobility limitations or anyone who cannot safely enter or exit a kayak.
