Itinerary
- Arrival and check-in at Las Croabas (arrive 15 minutes early recommended).
- Group waivers, insect repellent, kayak 101 safety briefing, lifejacket fittings and safety lights (approx. 45 minutes).
- Shore-to-shore guided kayak tour in water (approx. 2 hours).
- Return to shore for snacks, cold water and closing comments (approx. 15 minutes).

- Participants 12 and under must share a kayak with an adult
- Participants ages 13–17 require an accompanying adult who completes their waiver

- Not suitable for back, neck or shoulder problems, recent surgery, severe asthma, epilepsy, heart conditions, dizziness or motion sickness
- Severe allergies to mosquitoes or sulfur smells from sargassum are not permitted
- Alcohol, safety-impairing drugs, swimming and white lights are not permitted
- Tours require a minimum of 10 participants and may be canceled for unsafe weather
FAQs
Wear lightweight long sleeves and pants you do not mind getting wet, plus water shoes. Bring dry clothes and a towel for afterward. Consider a lightweight windbreaker or rain gear, and bring insect repellent that works for you if needed.
Bioluminescence is natural and visibility varies with water temperature, rainfall, cold fronts, and moon phase. Visibility is generally lower from November through March and may be very low or absent on full-moon nights, when the night kayak tour focuses on ecology.
The tour may be canceled for unsafe weather. If this happens, you can reschedule or receive a full refund if rescheduling is not possible.
