- Requires extended walking on uneven terrain; not recommended for wheelchair users or limited mobility
- Plan for approximately 5–6 miles of hiking over moderately difficult terrain

- Arrive with a full gas tank; cellular coverage is spotty in the area
- Leave rock engravings, historical sites, and historical items where you find them
- A 3% Bureau of Land Management Special Recreation Permit fee applies
