Bruny Island Full-Day Wilderness Cruise

Join a shared wilderness cruise along Bruny Island’s cliffs, with covered, open-air seating on a custom-made yellow boat. Watch for seals, dolphins, seabirds and migrating whales as you explore the coastline. Depart from Hobart or Kettering; the Hobart option also includes morning tea and lunch.

Itinerary

1. For the Hobart option, depart at 07:45 from Pennicott Wilderness Journeys, Dock Head Building, Franklin Wharf. For the Kettering option, depart at 08:30 from Oyster Cove Marina in Kettering.
2. On the Hobart option, take the ferry crossing at 09:00 toward Adventure Bay. On the Kettering option, travel by bus at 08:45, then take the ferry.
3. At 10:30, enjoy morning tea on the Hobart option or reach Adventure Bay on the Kettering option.
4. At 11:00, take a 3-hour wilderness cruise at Adventure Bay on the Hobart option or Bruny Island on the Kettering option.
5. On the Hobart option, have lunch at 14:00. The menu may change with the season and ingredient availability.
6. Return by bus, then ferry. On the Kettering option, the bus leaves at 15:15 and the ferry at 16:30.
7. On the Kettering option, return to Oyster Cove Marina at 16:45. On the Hobart option, finish at 17:30, with a shuttle included.
